Terms of Service

Last updated: 13 October 2026.

Product terms for Tekarius as it ships today. This is not legal advice. Governing law, a payment provider, and a contact email will be named when we start charging.

Read these Terms together with our Privacy.

These Terms govern the Tekarius website and the browser editor (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the editor you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

If you use Tekarius for a studio or company, you confirm you have authority to bind that party.

The Service is not intended for anyone under 18. Do not sign in with a Google account you do not control.

The service

Tekarius is a browser BIM editor for early-stage houses and low-rise buildings. You model walls, floors, rooms, dimensions and sheets in a project file, then print PDF and export IFC (and mesh formats) from the editor. It is not a complete professional BIM suite and it does not replace a licensed architect or engineer.

The building lives in a project document (JSON). The 3D engine only draws that document. Camera, selection and tool UI are not part of the file. Optional Google Photorealistic 3D Tiles are a site underlay in the viewport, not BIM and not topography.

Account

You sign in with Google through Playder authentication. We do not run a separate password login in the editor. Keep the Google account under your control. You are responsible for everything modeled, saved or exported under that account.

If you think someone else is using your account, stop using it and contact us through the product. We may suspend an account that we reasonably believe is compromised or is breaking these Terms.

Your projects

You own the project files you create: the building JSON, metadata (name, revision) and anything you model in them. We do not claim ownership of your house.

You grant Tekarius a limited licence to store, back up, display and process that file so the editor can open, autosave and export it for you. We do not use your models to train public models, and we do not sell them.

PDF, IFC, glb and obj are generated in your browser today. You decide who you send those files to. Opening a project you do not own is not allowed. If we close the account, you may lose server copies — export what you need to keep.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the content of your projects and for how you use exports. In particular you agree that:

  • You have the rights to the project you save (your own work, or permission from whoever owns it).
  • You keep your own copies of work you care about (PDF, IFC or another export). Server storage can fail.
  • You, not Tekarius, are responsible for building codes, permits, consultants and construction. An export is not a stamped set.
  • You will not try to open, change or scrape another account’s projects, or probe, overload or reverse-engineer the Service.
  • You will not use Tekarius for illegal work, malware, or to upload content you do not have rights to.
  • If you turn on Google 3D tiles, you will not extract that mesh into topography or treat it as survey-grade site data. It is a visual underlay.

Tekarius’s software

The editor, landing site, element catalog, commands and brand are ours (or licensed to us). We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the Service according to your account plan. These Terms do not sell you the software.

If you send feedback or bug reports, we may use them to improve the product without paying you.

Plans and fees

The subscription is on the account (Free / Starter / Pro; Pro AI and Studio later), not in the project file and not in the login token. Creating projects may be capped by that plan. Downgrade does not delete existing projects; you just cannot create another until you are under the cap. Each plan's limits (projects, storage, monthly exports and Google 3D map sessions) are listed on the Pricing page. The plans are for normal individual use: we may limit automated or abusive use.

Card checkout is not live yet. When it is, these Terms will name the payment provider, how renewal and cancelation work, and taxes. Until then, any “simulate payment” control is only for development and does not charge you.

Third-party services

Google handles sign-in and, if you opt in, Photorealistic 3D Tiles. Playder issues the session. When we charge, a payment provider will see billing identity — not the building JSON. Those services have their own terms. We are not responsible for their outages or policies.

Term

These Terms apply while you use the Service. You can stop by signing out and, when we offer it, deleting the account. We may suspend or end access if you break these Terms. After that you should not expect the editor or cloud projects to stay available. Clauses that by nature should survive (ownership of your files, our software, warranty, liability) continue.

No warranty

The Service is provided as-is and as-available. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, compatible with every browser, or that a model or export is complete, accurate, or fit for construction.

Tekarius does not endorse your project as a professional deliverable. You verify rooms, dimensions, sheets, PDF and IFC before you send them to a client, consultant or authority.

Limitation of liability

To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for lost work, bad exports, downtime, third-party outages (Google, Playder, hosting), or decisions you make from a model. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. When we start charging, any remaining liability will be capped at the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim.

Indemnity

You will defend and hold us harmless from claims that arise from your projects, your exports, your use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms — including a claim that your model or a file you share infringes someone else’s rights.

Changes

We may change the product and these Terms. The date at the top is the version that applies. We will post the new text here. Continued use after a change means you accept it. If you do not, stop using the Service.

Contact

Questions about these Terms: use the account you signed in with, inside the product. We will publish a contact email when we start charging.
