3D site

Shows the surroundings with Google's photorealistic 3D map and places your building on it.

Place the site

Select the 3D site, then choose Pick on map and click the location. The latitude and longitude are set from the pin.

Properties

Once a site is set, these properties adjust how the map sits under your model.

  • Latitude and longitude: where the map is centered
  • Rotation (°): turns the map around the vertical axis
  • Elevation (m): raises or lowers the map
  • Position X and Z (m): moves the map relative to the model
  • Context radius (m): how far around the site the map extends
  • Show 3D site: turns the map on or off

Implantation pads

A pad marks the ground under the building. Select the 3D site and use the pad tool to add one.

Loading

The map loads only while the 3D site is shown. Hide it to reduce loading time when you do not need it.
